The Whitecastle ward of Whitecastle Community Council includes the village of Llantilio Crossenny (north of the river Trothy), Tal-y-coed, Brynderi, Treadam and the area around the castle itself.

It is the second largest ward within the community council area and is represented by two community councillors.
