To celebrate the new reign of His Majesty The King, the Cabinet Office announced a government funded voluntary scheme throughout the United Kingdom to allow public authorities to apply for a free, framed portrait of the Monarch. Whitecastle Community Council accepted the offer and discussed an appropriate place to place the portrait. The community council was delighted when Llantilio Crossenny Church committee accepted to display the portrait in St Teilo's Church. Pictured is Cllr. Lauren Hughes, Revd Heidi Prince and Elsie Latham who is the church warden.
