Consultation on Amendment to Traffic Regulation Orders

The sequencing order of the Amendment Order Consultation programming has been rearranged due to updated requirements for ongoing scheme works at Woodstock Way and Mill Lane in Caldicot. The legal consultation for Amendment Order A016, covering parking/waiting proposals (including Woodstock Way/Mill Lane), began before Christmas and will conclude on January 15.

 Amendment Order A017, addressing various speed limit proposals, cannot commence until A016 is legally sealed. This consultation is now scheduled for March this year and includes:

• A 20 mph extension in Rockfield village
• A reduction from 40 mph to 30 mph at The Hendre
• A 40 mph limit on the B4233 from Monmouth to Rockfield.
