Important Road Closure in Llantilio Crossenny

Notice Is Hereby Given That Monmouthshire County Council of County Hall, The Order shall come into operation on the 23rd July 2025. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 23 July 2025 and 31 July 2025, operating between 09:30 – 15:30. The order is necessary to allow Various Telecom maintenance works such as desilting works and clearing ducts to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure. The effect of the order will be to temporarily close a section of R42 Llantilio Crossenny to Penrhos Farm, Llantilio Crossenny, Monmouthshire, ~385m north-east from its junction with B4233 for ~225m. A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows:- R43 Llantilio Crossenny Village Thoroughfare, B4233, Llanarth Road, Pit-Wern-Yr-Heolydd, Wernrheolydd Road, Raglan Road and vice versa
