Full Details

Pubtopia Creative Workshops is a community initiative run by Pubtopia CIC in partnership with The Halfway, Tal-y-Coed. The workshops aim to support wellbeing, reduce isolation, and encourage community connection.

Thanks to funding, subsidised places are available for individuals and referrals from partner organisations. Workshops run on Saturdays (12–2pm and 3–5pm), with 14 places per day. No previous experience is needed, and all materials are provided. Sessions are scheduled to run until April, with hopes to continue subject to funding.

Upcoming workshops include:

Glass Workshop (28th February): Introduction to glass work, creating a decorative piece to be fired and collected later.

Ceramics & Hand-Building Workshop (21st March): Introduction to stoneware clay, basic throwing and hand-building, with glaze options. Pieces are fired and returned.

Felt Animal Workshop (18th April): Beginner-friendly needle-felting session to create a small felt animal.

For referrals or more information, participants can contact Pubtopia CIC via email or Facebook.
