Damaged road signs reported by the Community Council

A resident of the Hendre has asked for the No HGVs sign put back at the top of Llanvolda Lane which runs from the Hendre to Llangattock Vibon Avel. The lane has always been limited to no HGVs. According to reports the sides at the top end of the lane were badly damaged by a vehicle too wide for the lane coming down it. There is now even more mud than usual on the lane and the sides in the upper end may not be so stable.

Local highways are the responsibility of the County Council. The Community Council will always report residents concerns but has no power to make any changes. The Highways department always acknowledges reports but does not always take action or communicate changes. This is number 16 of the Community Council's reports which are 'Under Review'.
