Highways update in Penrhos and Whitecastle community.
The highways team has filled some of the worst potholes on the Penrhos/Tregare road
As part of a new County Council initiative, a range of different equipment and repair methods will be tested to assess their effectiveness in tackling road surface damage. The trial involves the use of new equipment from
Velocity.
One of the key elements of the trial will involve the use of a jet-patching machine, which is expected to operate from Raglan Depot for a two-week period at the end of April. During this time, the technology will be trialled in several locations, including a short deployment within the Whitecastle community area.
The trial is intended to help identify the most efficient and durable approaches to pothole repair, supporting longer-term improvements to road maintenance across the county.
