Road closure - Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice

Monmouthshire County Council has issued a Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice Order for Raglan Road, Penrhos. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 8 March 2024 and 12 March 2024. The order is necessary for Dwr Cymru Welsh Water works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure. The effect of the order will be to temporarily close a section of Raglan Road, Penrhos, from its junction with Pentre-High House for ~65m. A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows:- Cross Elms, R42 Penrhos Farm to Beiliau Wood, Pentre-High House and vice versa. See the linked page for details. Read More...

Monmouthshire County Council has informed the community council of two temporary path orders closing various public footpath bridges in and around the community of Whitecastle. These orders include 14 footpaths, 9 of which are in the WCC area. The bridges have been closed on the grounds of public safety.
